Full Project Management - Hertfordshire

This was a project we received planning permission for the end of 2014.

Our clients chose PJT Custom Build to discharge all the planning conditions, set the site up and thereafter provide a full Project Management service throughout the whole project.

In May 2015 we undertook the demolition of the existing dwelling and cleared the site ready for construction.

Groundworks commenced, which very early on into the project become a key indicator of how our support to the client would become evidently valuable. Original quotations for the groundworks were coming in at circa £45,000 due to the large oak tree on site and general ground conditions. By working with our consultant structural engineers and liaising with the local authority building inspector, we were able to bring some fresh thinking to the table and agreed an alternative groundwork's solution which ended up being £15,000 cheaper.

Because we differ from most other Project Management companies we were able to pass this saving on to our clients as we do not seek to make margin at your expense.

We charge for our management services on a fixed fee basis, linked to key milestones throughout the build and at all times, are working with your best interests in mind.

The timber frame was delivered during the summer of 2015 by Oakwrights. First and Second fix was completed by early 2016. With the decorating and hard landscaping completed the clients moved in over the Easter weekend.
